How Engagements Work at halcorazxx
Each engagement follows the same underlying discipline. We begin with a documented scope and an agreed timeline. We gather data before forming opinions. We present findings with their evidence, not as unsupported assertions. We do not expand what is being done without your agreement.
The three engagement types below reflect the questions we are most frequently asked to address. They are not modular components of a larger system designed to generate ongoing fees — they are self-contained, useful on their own, and capable of standing alone as complete pieces of work.

Competitive Landscape Mapping
Three-week engagement · HK$4,100
A competitive landscape mapping engagement builds a layered, evidence-based picture of your competitive environment — the companies that are competing for the same opportunities you are, the adjacent players who might enter your space, and the emerging disruptors whose trajectory is worth tracking.
Unlike general market research, this engagement is structured around the specific strategic questions facing your company at this point in time. The output is a working analytical document, not a background information pack.
What is included:
- Analysis of public filings, market signals, and customer sentiment
- Layered competitive map with direct, adjacent, and emerging categories
- Strategic implications section tailored to your situation
- Briefing session with lead consultant on findings
- Optional quarterly refresh retainer (priced separately)
Process:
Scoping session to define competitive frame and key strategic questions
Data gathering: public filings, media, pricing, positioning, sentiment
Analytical synthesis and strategic implication development
Deliverable preparation and client briefing session
Best suited for:
- · Companies entering new segments or geographies
- · Boards reviewing competitive positioning annually
- · Organisations responding to new market entrants
- · Leadership teams preparing investor presentations
Best suited for:
- · Companies with declining client retention
- · Service businesses launching new delivery models
- · Organisations receiving inconsistent client feedback
- · Firms preparing for competitive re-positioning
Engagement 02
Customer Experience Audit
Four-week engagement · HK$5,600
The Customer Experience Audit evaluates every touchpoint where your clients interact with your organisation — from the moment they become aware of you through to follow-up after service delivery. The engagement uses mystery engagement, journey mapping, and structured feedback analysis to identify where friction occurs and where the experience falls short of what you intend it to be.
The deliverables are practical: a visual journey map, a friction log with severity ratings, and a phased improvement plan that sequences priorities against feasibility and impact.
What is included:
- Mystery engagement across relevant touchpoints
- End-to-end journey map (visual, board-ready)
- Friction log with severity and root cause analysis
- Phased improvement plan with sequenced priorities
- Briefing session with operational team
Process:
Touchpoint identification and scoping of the client journey
Mystery engagement and feedback analysis across touchpoints
Journey mapping and friction log development
Improvement plan preparation and team briefing
Engagement 03
Governance Framework Design
Five-week engagement · HK$6,800
Governance Framework Design builds or refines the structures your company needs to operate with discipline as it scales — board composition, committee charters, reporting cadences, and decision-rights matrices. The engagement is suited for companies at structural transition points where informal governance arrangements are no longer adequate.
Governance structures should match company stage. What works for a founder-led enterprise of twenty people is unlikely to serve a pre-IPO company or a family office converting to professional management. This engagement designs the specific framework your situation requires.
What is included:
- Board composition analysis and recommendation
- Committee charters drafted (Audit, Risk, Remuneration as applicable)
- Decision-rights matrix design
- Reporting cadence and management information framework
- Briefing session with board or senior management
Process:
Current governance assessment and gap identification
Framework design: board, committees, decision rights, reporting
Document preparation and internal review cycle
Implementation guidance and board/management briefing
Final deliverable handover and Q&A session
Best suited for:
- · Pre-IPO companies preparing for listing requirements
- · Family offices transitioning to professional management
- · Rapidly scaling enterprises needing structural discipline
- · Organisations following a significant acquisition or merger
